The Henderson Professional Firefighters Honor Guard will be cooking whole grilled chickens on Wednesday, April 13. Pickup is at the Denton Shelter on Elm Street in Atkinson Park from 3-7 p.m. Chickens are $10 each. Kabob Xpress will be open at special hours during the month of Ramadan, which lasts until Monday, May 2. The restaurant will be closed Sunday and Monday and open normal hours from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The menu offers Mediterranean specialties such as hummus and stuffed grape leaves, falafel, kebabs, shawarma, fresh naan bread and more.
