Celebrity Olly Murs, Amir Khan and Kimberley Walsh’s Favorite London Restaurants

We have so many fantastic places to eat here in London, and so many choices – fine dining, pub food, street food, Michelin star, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Turkish, Italian … you name it, we have I understood.

It’s no wonder our capital is a hotspot for the rich and famous, with many of our restaurants boasting quite prestigious clientele.

Want to spot celebrities while enjoying a meal? The 2Chill recommendation site has shared five restaurants where you can hang out with the stars. But be warned, you’ll have to be prepared to spend the money, eating in most of them doesn’t come cheap.

Sexy fish

Like many celebrity-favorite restaurants, Sexy Fish is located in the heart of Mayfair. An Asian restaurant with a Japanese-inspired menu, dishes include a variety of sushi, sashimi, seafood, fish and meats. But it’s not only the food that is appreciated by diners, it’s also the atmosphere, with an ambiance that exudes opulence and glamor. And did we mention whiskey? The bar has the world’s largest collection of Japanese whiskey.

Sexy Fish is a popular hangout for many celebrities, including TOWIE regulars James Locke and Pete Wicks, as well as stars across the pond including Jennifer Lawrence and Kendall Jenner.

Trifle

French restaurant Bagatelle is another celebrity favorite located in the affluent Mayfair district. Its menu promises to offer a taste of the French Riviera right here in London with dishes that include truffle pizza and lobster fettuccine. But it certainly won’t be a bargain night, its menu is quite expensive.

Some of the celebrities who have spent an evening at Bagatelle in the past include Jude Law, Montana Brown of Love Island and Kimberley Walsh, who threw a birthday party at the restaurant.

Roka

It seems that Japanese cuisine is particularly popular with celebrities, as Roka is another restaurant on the list. With four restaurants in London, including Mayfair, its venues are often visited by many TOWIE actors, past and present. Guests at his Canary Wharf location have included Courtney Green, Lauran Goodger, Billi Mucklow and Shelby Tribble.

Ivy

The Ivy has been known for years for its prestigious clients, most notably Oasis and the Spice Girls. In fact, this glamorous restaurant has served Londoners for over a century. He celebrated his 100th birthday just a few years ago. Serving a mix of modern British and Asian fare, The Ivy has locations in Chelsea, Tower Bright, Soho and Richmond.

Some famous faces who have dated him over the years include the Beckhams, Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Brat Pit, and Kate Moss.

Sheesh

Okay so we know Chigwell is technically classified as Essex, but we claim it as our own point of view as it is right across the border and can be reached by tube. And the most famous restaurant in town is without a doubt the Sheesh. Regular celebrity guests include Olly Murs, Mark Wright and Tommy Mallet. Other famous clients include Little Mix, Tyson Fury, Katie Price, and Harry Kane.

While his Sheesh Skewers look absolutely divine, other popular dishes include truffle pizza, truffle chips, and the Wagyu burger.
