The people of Heights are going to have to drive further to Becks Prime Fresh never-frozen Angus beef burgers, hand-cut fries and ahi tuna salads. The Heights location at 115 West 19th will close Thursday, September 30.
The good news is that 10 locations remain (most of which are in Houston, but there’s also one in Dallas), and staff at the Heights site are offered positions elsewhere.

Becks Prime is a true Houston original. It started at its location on Kirby Drive.
It is known for its high quality but convenient burgers, salads, hot dogs and more. Some places offer drive-through services, while others are known for their scenic terraces, such as the one at 2615 Augusta, which is the site of a 400 year old sprawling oak.
According to a representative, Becks Prime sold the Heights location to an undisclosed buyer. With this neighborhood in high demand by both potential residents and business owners alike, the sale almost certainly generated a sizable profit.
