Asian American Center Concludes Series of Festivals with Autumn Moon Harvest | Dance

As the Asian American Center in Frederick held its annual Autumn Moon Harvest festival on Saturday — concluding its five-part Carroll Creek cultural series — executive director Elizabeth Chung said her goal was to make a statement.

The Autumn Moon Harvest featured performances of songs, dances, yo-yos, martial arts, and poetry. The performers at the festival spanned three generations and included several groups of older people, with the oldest being 86, Chung said in an interview.
